Spencer Fidler
Fidler’s work has evolved from personal, expressive forms to large, complex cyclical narratives to symbolic cultural confrontations with the medium of the intaglio print combined with mixed media.

Currently he is experimenting with the construction of layered intaglio shapes and silhouettes with several images and the use of varnish and acrylic medias on Japanese papers to build transparent images to create installations.

Fidler tends to work the intaglio pieces over extended periods, often even for several years. The images are modules that can be shifted for presentation; they are never editions but rather are always unique images.
